I'm Jenny Laws, a Manchester (UK) based artist with a passion for anything creative. I've been drawing since I was young enough to hold a pencil and was always known as the artist throughout my childhood, and this motivated me to train in Fine Art and also gain a degree in Animation at Leeds Art University. 

 

Growing up in the countryside I was always surrounded by wildlife, whether that was the cows and sheep in the fields we hiked through, my friends pet chickens, our own family pet Jasper (the most loyal golden labrador), or the deer and fawn which we spotted in our back garden! I love interacting with any animals, and I have even got a part-time job at a doggy daycare just to spend more time with them!

I started taking commissions for pet portraits on the side a few years ago when a friend requested my artistic ability, and since then have built up a history of happy clients mostly through word of mouth referrals. I hope to expand and reach more people and their wonderful pets, as there's nothing more fun than to create a beautiful portrait and receiving feedback from a happy owner.
